Book a young person nearby to clean your ground-level windows, and your card payment is held until you approve the finished job.
Ground-level windows only
Flyer keeps young people out of risky work. Anything that needs a ladder, a roof or gutter access cannot be posted, so window cleaning on Flyer means windows reachable from the ground: the front of the house, patio doors, a sunroom, storm doors and the like.
For second-storey windows, use a professional service.
How to book
Search Flyer for window cleaning, compare prices and availability, and send a request for a day and time. Nothing is confirmed until they accept.
Tell them in a message roughly how many windows there are, whether there are screens to wipe, and who supplies the cleaner and cloths.
How booking works
- Find a flyer. Browse young people by job, price and availability, and read their reviews.
- Send a request. Pick a day and time. A card is needed, but nothing is taken until they accept.
- They accept or decline. Nothing is confirmed until they accept. Your card is charged then, and your street address is shared.
- Approve the finished job. They tap On my way and Start, then finish the job. You approve it and the money is released to them. Tipping is optional.
How Flyer keeps jobs safe
- Every earner under 18 has a parent or guardian’s contact on file.
- Every job has to finish by 9 pm.
- Your street address stays hidden until the young person accepts.
- Jobs involving ladders, roofs, overnight work or power tools other than a lawn mower cannot be posted.
- The customer’s payment is held until they approve the finished job.
- A booking can be cancelled until the job starts (a 5% fee applies once the earner has accepted), and anyone who feels unsafe can leave at any time.
Flyer does not run criminal record checks, and it does not guarantee any job. Use the same judgement you would use hiring any neighbour’s kid. Read the safety rules in full.
Questions
Can a teenager clean my upstairs windows?
No. Jobs needing a ladder cannot be posted on Flyer. It is for windows reachable from the ground.
How much does window cleaning cost?
Each young person sets their own price, shown on their flyer before you send a request. Flyer adds a service fee on top, shown on the booking screen. The number of windows is the biggest factor.
Do I need to be home?
You can agree that in a message. Your street address is only shared once they accept the booking.
Who provides the cleaning supplies?
Agree that in a message before you book.
