Teens aged 13 and up put up flyers on Flyer for what they are good at, and washing cars is a classic. It happens at your place, in your driveway, on a day and time that suits you.

Agree what is included
Message them first about what you want: outside only or inside as well, wheels, drying, and whether you have a hose and bucket ready or they bring their own.
How booking works
- Find a flyer. Browse young people by job, price and availability, and read their reviews.
- Send a request. Pick a day and time. A card is needed, but nothing is taken until they accept.
- They accept or decline. Nothing is confirmed until they accept. Your card is charged then, and your street address is shared.
- Approve the finished job. They tap On my way and Start, then finish the job. You approve it and the money is released to them. Tipping is optional.
How Flyer keeps jobs safe
- Every earner under 18 has a parent or guardian’s contact on file.
- Every job has to finish by 9 pm.
- Your street address stays hidden until the young person accepts.
- Jobs involving ladders, roofs, overnight work or power tools other than a lawn mower cannot be posted.
- The customer’s payment is held until they approve the finished job.
- A booking can be cancelled until the job starts (a 5% fee applies once the earner has accepted), and anyone who feels unsafe can leave at any time.
Flyer does not run criminal record checks, and it does not guarantee any job. Use the same judgement you would use hiring any neighbour’s kid. Read the safety rules in full.
Questions
How much does a car wash by a teenager cost?
Each young person sets their own price, shown on their flyer before you send a request. Flyer adds a service fee on top, shown on the booking screen. You can add a tip once you approve the job.
Do they bring their own supplies?
Agree that in a message before you book.
Can I book a regular wash?
Yes. If you like someone's work, book them again. Their reviews and availability are on their flyer.
When is the payment taken?
