What you can hire for
Teens aged 13 and up put up a flyer on Flyer for what they are good at. The common ones are snow shovelling, lawn mowing, leaf raking, dog walking, babysitting, car washing, window cleaning and tutoring, and they can offer anything else that is not on the not-allowed list.

Post a chore instead
If you do not see the job you need, post a chore describing it. Young people who are interested put in a bid, and you choose who you want.
Why hire a young person
It keeps small jobs local, gives a young person real work close to home, and means the person doing it lives nearby. You see their price first, message them before you book, and read reviews from neighbours who used them.
How booking works
- Find a flyer. Browse young people by job, price and availability, and read their reviews.
- Send a request. Pick a day and time. A card is needed, but nothing is taken until they accept.
- They accept or decline. Nothing is confirmed until they accept. Your card is charged then, and your street address is shared.
- Approve the finished job. They tap On my way and Start, then finish the job. You approve it and the money is released to them. Tipping is optional.
How Flyer keeps jobs safe
- Every earner under 18 has a parent or guardian’s contact on file.
- Every job has to finish by 9 pm.
- Your street address stays hidden until the young person accepts.
- Jobs involving ladders, roofs, overnight work or power tools other than a lawn mower cannot be posted.
- The customer’s payment is held until they approve the finished job.
- A booking can be cancelled until the job starts (a 5% fee applies once the earner has accepted), and anyone who feels unsafe can leave at any time.
Flyer does not run criminal record checks, and it does not guarantee any job. Use the same judgement you would use hiring any neighbour’s kid. Read the safety rules in full.

Can I hire a teenager for a one-off job?
Yes. Send a request for a specific day and time. If they accept, you both know what is expected, and your card payment is held until you approve the finished job.
What jobs are not allowed?
Anything overnight, anything needing a ladder, roof or gutter access, power tools other than a lawn mower, personal care, driving people around, and anything age-restricted. The app stops these being posted.
Do I need an account to look?
No. You can browse without one. You need an account to book someone.
